We are extremely excited to be a part of the Techstars NYC class of 2019! We look forward to working with Jenny Fielding, Austin Crouse and all the mentors committed to growing the SquarePlan with us. You can still come visit us at the Columbia Startup Lab but we will be moving our business development team to the Flatiron offices of Techstars. Stay tuned!
We won a big check! Thank you to the Columbia Business School for this amazing opportunity. More than 230 startups competed, with only five of us selected to pitch for five minutes in the final round. The major themes for the competition concerned leveraging market feedback to adapt customer acquisition strategy. We look forward to supporting the next Columbia event!
Yesterday SquarePlan participated in the Columbia Business School Panel about Artificial Intelligence. The panel was moderated by Jeremy Kagan, managing director of the Columbia Entrepreneurship Center, and participants included X.ai, Satisfi labs, and Temburi. We were really excited and surprised to see that we had similar path and challenges in our respective verticals.
We were very happy to welcome a delegation of students and professors from different business schools of Israel at our offices here at the Columbia Startup Lab. We focused our conversations on entrepreneurship, and how Israeli entrepreneurs continue to contribute to the technology industry in both Israel and beyond.
Real Estate law and litigation can be tricky. Yesterday we gave a presentation to landlords and property managers along with the real estate lawyers of Levy Tolman LLP. We showed how SquarePlan can help increase accountability in the real estate management industry and why landlords and management companies will greatly benefit from AI.
